I'm Late!

I'm late! I'm late! For a very important date!

I do apologise for being late on posting but I just hadn't got round to uploading my pictures onto the computer and now it's Friday and I feel bad...


Today's post is a recipe to make Chocolate Brownies!

Ingredients:

300g Dark Chocolate
250g Butter
5 Large Eggs
450g Sugar
200g Plain Flour

Preheat the oven to 150°C.



Start with 300g of good dark chocolate, I used 70% cocoa.


Boil the kettle and pour into a pot, then bring the water to the boil on a low heat.


Melt the chocolate in a bowl over the pot with the butter


Mmmm... oh yes...


Add a drop of vanilla essence then leave to cool.


Beat the eggs in a cup, and add to a large bowl with the sugar.


Add the chocolate mixture.


Come to mama.


And whisk it all together!


Sift in the flour


And fold it in gently with a spoon.


Lovely!


Pour it into a lined tray (Tip: Cut the lining bigger than the tray base so you can easily lift it out), and use a palette knife to spread it evenly.


Bake for about 40 mins...


And when it's done the top should be cracked and the inside should be nice and gooey...


Serve a slice with a scoop of ice cream or whatever tickles your fancy! Enjoy!
